Each year, the Department of Art and Art History hosts a reception and awards ceremony at the end of the Spring semester to recognize students who have stood out in terms of academic achievement. The ceremony aims to recognize, acknowledge, and celebrate the work done by both A+AH graduating seniors as well as students currently enrolled. The recognition of work also includes involvement in the Student Art Gallery Co-Op, ARTsmart, and the Undergraduate Research Symposium and Arts Showcase. Students receive trophies, cash awards, and scholarships of up to $13,000 over the course of the evening.
