The month of May brings many changes to LMU Workday, including new features, a new interface, and the first performance reviews conducted in the new system.
Annual Performance Reviews
2022 marks the first time that annual performance reviews will be conducted in Workday. Staff self-evaluations are now available for submission and must be completed by Friday, June 3 (follow the prompts in your Workday inbox). Self-evaluations are required for all staff.
Supervisors must complete their assessment and meet with staff members to go over the review; staff must then acknowledge receipt of the performance review in Workday. The full process must be completed no later than Friday, July 15. Copies of the performance review will be stored digitally within the Workday system.
For step-by-step instructions, please utilize the performance review reference guides for staff and managers.
Workday Learning
Workday Learning is LMU’s new learning-management system for employee training. Combining professional development, peer learning, and required training, it offers digital courses, instructor-led offerings, compliance training and other programs to support employee learning. Additionally, employees can search for professional development opportunities and track their training progress for a particular course or session. Workday Learning is accessible through the main homepage at workday.lmu.edu.
Workday Today
Beginning June 2022, Lions will see a new homepage layout when they log in to LMU Workday. As shown below, the new homepage will highlight active items needing your attention and recommended articles for professional development and other topics. Workday icons (known as “apps”), which previously made up the entire homepage, can now be found on the right side under “View All Apps” or by clicking the hamburger icon next to the LMU logo.
