Dear Anthem Member:
We are pleased to share an update regarding our efforts to expedite the application of the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum credits for the period of Jan. 1 through May 31, 2023. Due to the initial longer timeframe to process, we had implemented a manual application of credits towards your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum for specific situations. This is no longer required.
Aetna and Anthem took the necessary steps to expedite the processing of our data file. Anthem anticipates that the application of the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum credits will be updated by today, Monday, June 26, 2023 with member portals, pharmacies, the Sydney app, and customer service all reflecting the uploaded Aetna data on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
Please note that the timeline to re-process claims will extend beyond June 27, 2023. Once we receive additional details regarding this timeline, we will communicate the information to all members.
