LMU Dining Services have been busy over the summer revamping their selections. Some new menus are available, some spaces have been renovated or closed, and new services have been added. For the most comprehensive and updated resources related to campus dining, please visit the LMU Dining Services website.
Introducing the fresh fall lineup, effective Aug. 28:
The Lair Marketplace – “Simply”
Malone Student Center
This new station serves meals crafted to be allergen friendly. Entrees will be free of peanuts, tree nuts, soy, shellfish, eggs, milk, gluten, and wheat. Equipped with new equipment dedicated solely to this station, the LMU Dining staff has also undergone training in cross-contamination prevention to ensure a worry-free dining experience for all with special dietary needs or preferences.
Additional updates at the Lair:
- Natural – Introducing acai bowls and savory toasts to the menu along with fresh smoothies, juices, and yogurt bowls.
- Hearth – Cauliflower crust and new vegan alternatives have been added to the menu.
Yokai Ramen
Malone Student Center (first floor)
This ramen vending machine is available to the campus 24/7 and now accepts student meal plans.
Indulge
Founders Pavilion (between the Del Rey residence halls)
FRZN Ice Cream Sandwiches has been transformed into “Indulge,” offering a rotation of seasonal cakes, pies and more decadent desserts paired with refreshing agua frescas or comforting hot chocolate depending on the season.
Starbucks
William H. Hannon Library
Starbucks underwent a makeover this summer to enhance the customer experience, complete with faster ovens, nitro taps, and more. As part of this refresh, LMU’s Starbucks will now accept orders and payment from the Starbucks app.
The Grids
Leavey and Del Rey
Enhanced offerings at these convenience stores include a fresh product mix, including meal kits and re-heatable food items.
L.A. Blvd
Founders Pavilion (between the Del Rey residence halls)
Cano containers will now be available at LA BLVD. Enjoy the vibrant flavors and diversity of L.A.’s food scene here on campus, while also contributing to a sustainable future. Check out the schedule of pop-up restaurants through our partner website: http://www.fooda.com/lablvd.
Latitude 33 – Crimson Lion
University Hall 1767 – just west of the Parking Office
LMU’s full-service restaurant will be open for lunch this fall. New items will include full-sized pizzas available for pickup via GrubHub.
Roski Dining
University Hall
Roski Dining Hall is closing due to persistently low patronage and major resource requirements. This far corner of University Hall will close its doors and serve as the new home of the campus’s catering operation while Dining Services explores and evaluates new right-sized opportunities for the space. The dining room will be available for event bookings via Conference and Event Services. Be on the lookout for the friendly and familiar faces of Roski in other parts of campus this fall.
