At this time, donations and fundraising are the most effective assistance the LMU community can provide to fire relief efforts in Los Angeles. As a campus community, the best way is to make monetary contributions, no matter how small, so that agencies on the ground can use these funds to meet the needs of fire victims in the most-effective way possible.

- Safe Place for Youth is partnering with LA Strong to open a distribution center for fire relief at our new drop-in center in Venice. The Distribution Center will be open for individuals impacted by the fires to stop by and pick up some essential items.
- Volunteers can sign up here for shifts. Sunday, Jan. 19 – Tuesday, Jan. 21 will be set up days. And from Wednesday, Jan. 22 – Friday, Feb. 7, the distribution center will be open for individuals impacted by the fires to stop by and pick up some essential items.
- Parking: Unfortunately, we do not have a designated parking lot. However, street parking is available on surrounding neighborhood streets. Kids over the age of 5 can join you on site, however, they must be supervised at all times.
