Roy Fisher, assistant professor in the history of spirituality and mysticism at LMU, was interviewed about the archive he is creating to memorialize Robert Clement, a 101-year-old gay priest who has dedicated his life to creating an inclusive LGBTQ church community. “Long before inclusion was widely accepted — or even considered possible — Robert created a welcoming, safe, and affirming spiritual home in New York City where LGBTQ people could worship, celebrate the sacraments, and live out their faith free from shame or condemnation.”
