“This is not unlike the piano Olympics,” said Artistic Director Wojciech Kocyan, who is also a piano professor at LMU and co-founded the competition in 2010. “They’re all up there in terms of their ability and skill. They’re mostly in their early to mid-20s, they’ve been playing for many years and their level is very high.”
