Jessica Levinson, LMU Loyola Law School professor, spoke with Spectrum about the Supreme Court case regarding the President’s ability to unilaterally impose tariffs through the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, and the Republican party’s recent lawsuit to block Proposition 50. “This was just passed overwhelmingly, and judges don’t like to disrupt things before an election, and particularly make it look like they’re undermining the will of the people,” Levinson said of the Prop. 50 case.
