Laurie Levenson, professor at LMU Loyola Law School, discussed a Supreme Court case examining whether regular marijuana users can legally own guns. Levenson explained the central question: “If you have somebody who is not currently impaired or is using something like marijuana, is that enough to deny them their Second Amendment right to weapons?” She noted the court will likely side with those pushing for expanded gun access despite efforts from the Trump administration to maintain existing restrictions.
