Laurie Levenson, professor at LMU Loyola Law School, commented on why Bryan Kohberger, the defendant in the 2022 University of Idaho student murders case, might be seeking to withdraw his guilty plea and go to trial. “I think that he has had a hard time adjusting in custody. That gives him a greater incentive to withdraw his plea and ask for a trial.”
