Vanessa Diaz, associate professor of Chicana/o and Latina/o studies at LMU and co-author of “P FKN R: How Bad Bunny Became the Global Voice of Puerto Rican Resistance,” was featured on NBC’s special highlighting Bad Bunny. “In terms of popularity, in terms of a smart decision of who’s going to get the most eyes on the show, Bad Bunny is the only choice,” said Diaz of the artist’s selection to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime show.
