“It can affect the revenues of the companies we’re talking about, and then that could eventually force social and economic change,” said LMU’s Sung Won Sohn, professor of finance and economics, about the effectiveness of the blackout.
But, he added: “One day might not be enough. I think sooner or later, people will go back and spend money they would have spent anyway.”
