Vanessa Díaz, associate professor of Chicana/o and Latina/o studies at LMU, discussed why Bad Bunny belongs in the classroom, demonstrating how studying the artist helps students understand Puerto Rican and Latino history, politics, and culture in the United States. Díaz teaches a course on Bad Bunny and Puerto Rico and co-authored “P FKN R: How Bad Bunny Became the Global Voice of Puerto Rican Resistance.”
