Fernando Guerra, director of LMU’s Center for the Study of Los Angeles, speaks about updates in the L.A. mayoral race. “Residents and voters are not happy with local government. They don’t trust it to the same degree that they did, they don’t think it’s efficient, they don’t think it’s working overwhelmingly in the polls,” Guerra commented about the current climate in L.A., yet he mentioned it is hard to beat an incumbent. He also provided commentary in Los Angeles Daily News.
