Fernando Guerra, professor of political science and Chicana/o Latina/o studies and director of LMU’s Center for the Study of Los Angeles, discussed ballot measures and the upcoming November elections in California, as well as trends and shifts in politics nationwide. According to Guerra, polling suggests “everybody is frustrated with government and with institutions. Not just government; the level of trust of the media and other institutions is really low.”
