Justin Levitt, professor at LMU Loyola Law School, filed an amicus brief with a group of former Department of Justice employees siding with California in the DOJ’s case against the state and 22 others for their refusal to share voter roll data with the federal government. In reaction to the judge’s decision that sided with the opposing states, Levitt said, “The court did what we thought the court should do.”
