Fernando Guerra, director of LMU’s Center for the Study of Los Angeles, was quoted about Mayor Karen Bass’ reelection prospects following the Palisades Fire. “The fires are the major issue in this election,” Guerra said, noting voter criticism of Bass’ response while predicting she will win the June primary.
