Rosalynde LeBlanc, LMU dance professor, has been selected for the competitive Launch: L.A. residency program at L.A. Dance Project, marking the first time LeBlanc will present her choreography in a professional Los Angeles venue. LeBlanc’s piece, titled “Womanland,” explores the “landscape of womanhood” in the U.S., and is accompanied entirely by music from female composers, containing nine different sections.
