A survey by LMU’s Center for the Study of Los Angeles found that two-thirds of L.A. County voters believe the county is headed in the “wrong direction,” with more than 70% calling for major government reform. “This is a moment of rare alignment,” said Fernando Guerra, the Center’s director. “Residents think the system isn’t working…and they want big solutions, not incremental fixes.” The survey also found overwhelming support for Measure G reforms, including an independent ethics commission.
