Karen Rapp, director and curator of LMU’s Laband Art Gallery, was interviewed about the late Los Angeles muralist Noni Olabisi, her current exhibit at the Laband, and her impact on Los Angeles and the city’s Black community. “Noni Olabisi: When Lightning Strikes” runs from Jan. 29 through March 28, and its opening reception takes place Saturday, Feb. 7 from 1 to 3 p.m.
