“The defense may feel that their best shot at undercutting the credibility of the prosecution’s witnesses is by finding evidence that contradicts the accusers, even on small points,” LMU Loyola Law School Professor Laurie Levenson told the L.A. Times. “This is a case where the prosecution witnesses’ credibility is on the line. They will do what they can do challenge it without taking too many risks.”
