And then when it finally did come in, I was relieved. I felt like I could breathe again. But I was weeping first of all for George Floyd’s family. Even as I might feel jubilation and relief for them, he’s still dead. This does not bring him back. I feel that accountability was served. But, justice? It’s going to take a long way toward justice.
