Aarika Hughes, head coach of LMU women’s basketball, led the team to a historic season, where they climbed to the top of the West Coast Conference despite their selection as ninth in the pre-season poll. “We have four core values: tough, selfless, pride, and joy. All four of those words embody who I am as a competitor, a leader, and who I am every single day,” Hughes said of how she defines her program.
