Justin Levitt, professor at LMU Loyola Law School, commented on yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling, which let over a dozen states keep their post-election grace periods for mail-in ballots, and an upcoming case that could challenge parts of an Arizona law requiring proof of citizenship for voting. “I don’t think [Monday’s ruling] is a harbinger of what the court is going to do on the [National Voting Rights Act],” he said.
