Vanessa Diaz, associate professor of Chicana/o and Latina/o studies at LMU was featured on CNN and CNN’s One Thing podcast about Bad Bunny’s forthcoming performance at the Super Bowl, his influence and activism on behalf of Puerto Rico, and the rise of Latin music in the U.S. Diaz teaches a course on Bad Bunny and Puerto Rico and co-authored a book titled “P FKN R: How Bad Bunny Became the Global Voice of Puerto Rican Resistance,” to be released in 2026.
