The Los Angeles Rams will return to Loyola Marymount University this summer for 2026 Training Camp under a newly expanded multi-year agreement that extends through 2031 and provides increased revenue to support future investments in academic and student success programs.
As the Rams’ exclusive higher education partner, LMU will host Training Camp for the third-consecutive year, welcoming fans to open practices and special events on its Westchester campus and providing fans of both the Rams and the Lions rare, up-close access to the team throughout July and August.
From July 20 to Aug. 9, 2026, LMU will again become the Rams House as coaches and players move into residence halls, train in the Lions’ athletics facilities, and hold meetings and share meals on campus. Open practice days will kick off on Monday, July 27, and will offer live entertainment, photo opportunities with Rams cheerleaders and mascot Rampage, family-friendly activities, giveaways, and more.

Since launching a first-of-its-kind partnership in 2023, LMU and the Los Angeles Rams have created transformative educational and career opportunities for students through internships, mentorships, academic collaborations, and immersive industry experiences while strengthening student outcomes and community engagement across campus and beyond.
More than 1,500 LMU students and all seven LMU schools and colleges have participated in Rams programming that connects classroom learning with real-world experience, where students gain behind-the-scenes access to the sports and entertainment industry and learn directly from Rams leaders through guest lectures and exclusive experiences.
The partnership’s impact continues to grow: 30 LMU students will complete internships during 2026 Rams Training Camp, while a new cohort will begin internships with the organization this fall, and more than 55 students will participate in mentorship opportunities throughout the academic year. These distinctive opportunities reinforce a partnership that continues to redefine experiential learning – equipping students with practical skills, professional networks, and pathways to meaningful careers.
The relationship has also enhanced LMU’s visibility locally, nationally and globally, with the LMU brand shining bright during a Rams home game each season on LMU Day at the Rams. Now, this purposeful revenue will fuel student-centered investments across the university, including the replacement of Drollinger Field, which serves more than 620 club and intramural athletes annually. Other academic initiatives focused on student success will be announced in coming months.
LMU will have a limited number of tickets to Rams Training Camp open practice sessions to distribute to students, faculty, and staff on a first come, first served basis.
