Engineering seniors and graduate students presented their capstone projects to industry representatives and the Loyola Marymount University community at the Engineering Design Showcase held on Friday, April 29 in the Featherston Life Sciences Building. More than thirty projects were on display, ranging in topic from developing a prosthetic leg for use in the shower, designing a smart menstrual cup, creating plans for sustainable housing, improving colorectal cancer screening rates and so much more. Seniors and graduates channeled the lessons they learned over the course of their education into the projects they developed from concept through to production.
