We continue to actively monitor the wildfire crisis, in coordination with the Los Angeles Fire Department and L.A. County officials, who have confirmed that all three LMU campuses are safe to maintain normal operations. Currently, there are no fires near our campuses, and LMU plans to begin classes as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. Please see FAQs addressing the wildfires and campus operations for more.
- Current Air Quality: Air quality continues to improve significantly, with Sunday, January 12 levels remaining at “Moderate” for all three LMU campuses as of 3 p.m. While we will continue to monitor air quality and act responsively, current levels continue trending toward better air quality.
- Prayer Vigil: Campus Ministry will host a prayer vigil for the LMU community in the coming days. Details will be shared via a Community Advisory once plans are finalized.
- LMU Loyola Law School: an additional communication will be shared to LMU Loyola Law School faculty, staff, and students around 5 p.m. this evening, with specifics pertaining to the LLS community ahead of Monday’s return to campus. Please keep an eye on your inbox for further details.
