On Monday, November 2, 2015, Shane P. Martin, dean and professor of the LMU School of Education, delivered his annual convocation address, Academic Excellence and Inclusive Education: A School of Education in the Ignatian Paradigm. The address focused on examining the LMU School of Education in the context of an inclusive educational model dedicated to excellence – the idea that we need to prepare all educators to inspire all children to achieve their full potential. Dean Martin also explored the impact that the LMU School of Education is making across schools, communities and society – all grounded in the Jesuit educational tradition. The address took place at the Hilton Auditorium in LMU’s Conrad Hilton Center for Business to an audience of more than 200 attendees.
