On November 3, 2014, Shane P. Martin, dean and professor of the LMU School of Education, delivered his 11th annual Convocation address – The LMU Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice: A Decade of Making a Difference in Schools and Communities. The address situated LMU’s Ed.D. in Educational Leadership for Social Justice program within the wider context of education in the U.S. and demonstrated its impact within the School of Education and across the university as the program celebrates its 10th anniversary. With more than 100 graduates holding influential positions in diverse educational settings, the LMU Doctoral Program is transforming schools and communities in Los Angeles and beyond.
