
Join students and professors at Loyola Marymount University on Monday, Sept. 26, on the Westchester campus to watch and discuss the first presidential debate.
LMU’s Debate Watch Party, which will begin just before Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump face off at Hofstra University in New York, offers opportunities for dialog, questions and answers about the upcoming election.
The program starts at 5:50 p.m. with an introduction by Christopher Finlay, Ph.D., assistant professor of communication studies. Following the hour and a half debate, there will be a discussion led by Janie Steckenrider, Ph.D., associate professor of political science, and Claudia Sandoval, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science.
LMU students will watch the debate on a large, inflatable screen outside in Lawton Plaza. The event is sponsored by the Associated Students of Loyola Marymount University.
