On April 22, 2017, Spanish majors Victoria Artaza, Alanna Quinn and Jordan Rehbock, and Spanish minor Mebra Kisaka were inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit Honor Society. For her outstanding credentials, Alanna Quinn was the recipient of a $1000 scholarship.
Alpha Sigma Nu recognizes those students who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty, and service. The organization encourages its members to a lifetime pursuit of intellectual development, deepening Ignatian spirituality, service to others, and a commitment to the core principles of Jesuit education.
