Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education was again among the top ranked schools in the U.S. News & World Report’s latest listing of graduate schools of education.
The LMU School of Education climbed to 86th on the list of more than the 250 schools of education surveyed. There are more than 1,500 schools, colleges and departments of education nationwide. LMU’s School of Education is now the third-ranked Jesuit institution and the 11th-ranked school in California.
Dean Shane P. Martin was elated with the results. “The advancement of 45 positions from last year’s ranking is unprecedented. It reflects our commitment to academic excellence and the high quality of our students, faculty and staff. Congratulations to the School of Education on this momentous achievement.”
Other Jesuit institutions included in the rankings were Boston College (15th), Fordham University (58th), Loyola University Chicago (91st) and Marquette University (91st).
