With a panoramic view of the city as a backdrop, more than 100 Los Angeles area alumni, faculty, staff and friends gathered at the City Club in downtown Los Angeles. The evening provided an opportunity to catch up with old friends and colleagues and build new relationships toward opportunities to collaborate and further make an impact on education in Los Angeles. “As alumni and friends of the School of Education gather here, you are a part of an extraordinary network of teachers, counselors, administrators and education leaders who carry a lifelong commitment to making a difference in education. I am very honored to bring all of us together to forge connections to improve the lives of youth,” said Shane P. Martin, dean and professor of the School of Education.
