I. Marlene King, the showrunner behind one of TV’s most talked-about television series, “Pretty Little Liars”, will share her extensive insights into bringing a project from pitch to screen, what she looks for when hiring writers and directors, how to approach adaptations, and more. Writer-producer Bryan Holdman will interview King, followed by a community Q&A on Friday, February 26 at 7pm PT.
King also penned the screenplay for the beloved coming-of-age film “Now and Then”. Her other prolific credits include “Just My Luck” “If These Walls Could Talk” Freeform’s “Famous in Love” “Ravenswood” and “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.” Currently, King is adapting Finlay Donovan is Killing It, the latest novel by best-selling author, Elle Cosimano. The fast-paced comedic mystery is the first in a series optioned by 20th Television Studios.
