
Paul Viviano, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, will share his life journey and reflections on the health care landscape on Wednesday, March 14, at Loyola Marymount University.
Drawing from a career that spans more than three decades, Viviano will present his address, “Do You Want to Hear God Laugh?” from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building Auditorium. He will speak as part of the Seaver Spotlight speaker series presented by the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering.
Prior to Children’s Hospital, Viviano served as CEO of several major health care organizations, including the UC San Diego Health System, USC University Hospital and USC/Norris Cancer Hospital.
He serves on multiple boards of directors, including as chair of LMU’s Board of Trustees. Viviano earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from UC Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in public administration and public health from UCLA.
