
Associate Professor of Recording Arts Kurt Daugherty produced a PSA for North County Rape Crisis and Child Protection Center called No More! that sheds light on the prevalence of sexual abuse. Sexual violence can affect anyone, regardless of age or gender. According to the center, one in four women and one in six men are sexually assaulted in their lifetime.
In order to raise awareness and educate people about sexual assault prevention, April has been designated as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in the United States. As a community service project, Daugherty assembled a cast and crew of 13 SFTV faculty, alumni and students to create No More! The spot is currently running on the Central Coast CBS affiliate station. Many thanks to the following individuals for their service:
