Seaver College welcomed fourth grade science students from Playa Vista Elementary School earlier this summer. Students took a tour of the Life Sciences Building and engaged in some hands-on learning thanks to faculty and staff from the Biology Department. Using stereoscopes, the students observed the rapid growth of bacteria from swabs taken at various locations around their elementary school. They even got to meet and greet some of the lab’s local residents! Take a look at some of the photos from their visit.
