Philosophy Graduate student Ryan Beitz, M.A. ’16 has been selected as a 2016-17 Fulbright research scholar. He will be traveling to Helsinki, Finland this August to conduct research at both the University of Helsinki and Aalto University. Ryan’s research will be looking at the ways architects and urban planners think about the body and its experience of space to understand what value and application these approaches could have for philosophy as well as other disciplines across the humanities.
