Screenwriting professor Lawrence Levy’s recently-published novel, Brooklyn on Fire, was named one of this week’s “must-read books” by the New York Post.
Brooklyn on Fire is the second installment in his Mary Handley Mystery series, centered around a nineteenth-century female detective in Brooklyn known as Mary Handley. The novel chronicles the steps Mary takes to solve a murder, even crossing paths with high-profile families like the Rockefellers and Carnegies. The first novel in the series, Second Street Station, was released in June 2015.
