
Craft beer, food and entertainment will be on tap Saturday, July 29, during Loyola Marymount University’s second annual BeerFest.
Visitors will be able to sample glasses of beer from more than two dozen breweries – including many local or California brewers – and enjoy food truck fare, live music and games.
The event supports the Lions Athletic Fund, which provides scholarships for student-athletes and supports LMU’s 22 intercollegiate teams.
Among the participating breweries are those co-founded or owned by LMU alumni: Enegren Brewing Co., King Harbor Brewing Co., Scholb Premium Ales and The Bruery. Others include Absolution Brewing Co., Anchor Brewing, Avery Brewing Co., Beachwood Brewing, Black Market Brewing, Bruery Terreux, Common Cider, El Segundo Brewing Co., Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co., Golden Road Brewing, Honest Abe, Karl Strauss, Mission Brewery, Port Brewing Co., Ritual Brewing, Rob Rubens Distilling & Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Stone Brewing, Strand Brewing Co., The Lost Abbey, Three Weavers, Uinta Brewing and 2 Towns Ciderhouse.
