It’s the last week of classes for the Class of 2021, and in celebration, we have your complete breakdown of end-of-year events and commencement celebrations below.
First and foremost, while the 2020 SFTV Awards had been combined, the 2021 Awards will again be two separate events. First, the faculty and departmental awards, given to individual students who exemplify academic achievement, creative and scholarly pursuits, and service to the community, will occur on May 6 at 6pm PT. The SFTV Industry Awards, as voted on by students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals which recognize the best films, scripts, and work of the past academic year will be held in Fall 2021.
President Snyder will officially confer degrees at 10am PT to undergraduate students on May 8 and graduate students on May 9, followed by a live college-wide celebration each day. SFTV students should check their email for invitations to the SFTV-related events listed below. The university-wide commencement ceremony will take place in person on July 31, 2021. See all LMU-wide scheduled events here.
