
Loyola Marymount University has received the most applications for fall freshman enrollment in its history. Applications are up 10 percent over last year, for a total of 13,221 students seeking admission.
“I’m delighted to see this continued growth,” said Maureen Weatherall, LMU’s vice provost for Enrollment Management. “It’s a testament to LMU’s commitment to academic excellence and our Jesuit values.”
LMU’s profile has been on the rise in recent years, and the university is currently ranked third by U.S. News & World Report among “Best Regional Universities/West.”
LMU received applications from interested students in 49 states and 100 different countries. The university intends to enroll 1,325 students in the Class of 2019.
