Loyola Marymount University is once again ranked as one of the best schools in the nation for aspiring entrepreneurs, according to The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. Both the undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs in the LMU College of Business Administration clinched spots in the 2023 rankings, which were released today.
LMU came in at No. 3 in the West and No. 35 in the nation for undergraduate programs, and No. 5 in the West and No. 27 in the nation for graduate programs.
“I am proud that The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur have again recognized LMU as a leader in entrepreneurship education,” said David Choi, director of the Fred Kiesner Center for Entrepreneurship. “Our students and graduates continue to fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams and build businesses that are making a real impact in the world.”
The Princeton Review selected the schools and tallied its rankings based on its June – August 2022 survey of administrators at more than 300 undergraduate and graduate schools offering entrepreneurship studies. These rankings are based on institutional survey data, including academic offerings, experiential learning opportunities, and career outcomes, among other factors.
“Our entrepreneurship programs consistently earn high marks, which is a testament to our amazing faculty, staff, students and alumni,” said Dayle Smith, dean of CBA. “We are fortunate to be located in the tech hub of Silicon Beach, which allows our students to take advantage of an abundance of job and internship opportunities, and for our alumni and advisors to stay engaged.”
The Princeton Review’s acknowledgment of LMU’s entrepreneurship programs comes on the heels of U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 business specialty rankings in which LMU’s undergraduate entrepreneurship program took the No. 12 spot nationwide. LMU’s graduate entrepreneurship program is ranked No. 17. in the nation by U.S. News.
