Loyola Marymount University’s College of Business Administration, Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and the School of Education once again nabbed top spots on U.S. News & World Report’s latest rankings of the nation’s best graduate schools.
The College of Business Administration placed 12th for its graduate entrepreneurship specialty and 15th for marketing in the 2018 rankings. The college is ranked 16th for its graduate accounting program and 22nd for its Executive MBA program. LMU’s part-time MBA program placed 60th.
“This recognition is another step in the right direction toward our goal of offering the most elite graduate business programs in the nation and developing business professionals who can make an immediate impact,” said Dennis Draper, dean of LMU’s College of Business Administration.
LMU’s School of Education is ranked 62nd nationwide. Of the Jesuit schools listed, only Boston College and Fordham placed higher, and among private universities in California, only Stanford and USC ranked above LMU.

Martin, dean of the School of Education. “This is a reflection of our commitment to reimagining educator preparation in a new and profound way that puts all youth at the center of our work.”
Across town, Loyola Law School held onto its high rank in the category of best law schools, coming in at 65 nationwide.
The school also was recognized for its tax law specialty (ranked sixth in the nation); trial advocacy (also sixth) and part-time programs (9th nationwide and first among West Coast schools).
