Loyola Marymount University’s graduate programs in business, education and law continue to rank highly on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the nation’s best graduate schools.
According to the 2021 rankings released today, three LMU College of Business Administration programs placed among the nation’s top 25 – entrepreneurship (No. 12), marketing (No. 23) and accounting (No. 25) – while the part-time MBA program ranks in the top 50. The Executive MBA program is ranked 27th, and LMU debuted at No. 33 on the list of top business analytics programs.
LMU’s School of Education is ranked 58th in the nation after debuting on the list at 117 in 2008. The school continues to rank as the third-highest Jesuit school of education in the country, and the third highest among private schools in California.
Meanwhile, LMU Loyola Law School maintained its No. 62 spot on the list of best full-time J.D. programs, and placed in the top 10 for part-time J.D. (No. 9) and trial advocacy programs (No. 5). The law school rose several notches in specialty program rankings:
- Tax law (No. 11, up from 14)
- Legal writing (No. 44, up from 52)
- Healthcare law (No. 48, up from 52)
- International law (No. 57, up from 61)
- Clinical training (No. 69, up from 74)
- Environmental law (No. 85, up from 92)
Additionally, the law school debuted on specialty program rankings for criminal law, which is ranked No. 33 in the nation, business-corporate law (No. 48), constitutional law (No. 54) and contracts and commercial law (No. 63).
