
LMU College of Business Administration (CBA) continues to excel in its graduate business specialties, securing top spots in U.S. News & World Report’s latest rankings of the nation’s best graduate schools.
CBA’s specialty rankings saw impressive improvements, with accounting climbing 23 spots, finance rising 13 spots, and business analytics making a strong return. Each of CBA’s seven specialty areas is now ranked in the top 25, showcasing the strength and growth of the college.
- No. 10 in International Business (No. 1 in California)
- No. 11 in Entrepreneurship (No. 2 among Jesuit schools)
- No. 16 in Management (tied for No. 1 Jesuit school with Marquette University and University of Detroit Mercy)
- No. 18 in Accounting (No. 3 in California)
- No. 20 in Finance
- No. 20 in Marketing
- No. 24 in Business Analytics
“Our graduate business programs consistently earn high marks, which is a testament to our dedicated faculty, staff, students, and alumni,” said Dayle Smith, dean of CBA. “We pride ourselves on academic excellence, innovation, and student engagement, and will continue to deliver transformative learning experiences for our graduate students.”
In fall 2025, CBA is launching a redesigned MBA curriculum to meet the needs of busy professionals and a changing marketplace. This innovative program offers a flexible, affordable, and customizable pathway to earning a part-time MBA in just two years. Updates include a streamlined curriculum, two new areas of emphasis, and an optional global experience.
