
With the Lionsgate film “Deepwater Horizon” set to hit theaters on Sept. 30, Loyola Marymount University’s Dan Jacobs is available for interviews on the movie and the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
Jacobs is the author of the book “BP Blowout: Inside the Gulf Oil Disaster,” which is scheduled to be released this week.
Jacobs, who has previewed the film, is a visiting associate professor of management in LMU’s College of Business Administration and former award-winning Justice Department lawyer who handled high-profile environmental cases. He specializes in environmental and business law, risk management, compliance and ethics.
He has appeared on BBC World News television, and has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Financial Times and the Guardian.
