
Loyola Marymount University ranks among the nation’s elite universities in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges guide, earning a spot among California’s top six private schools and the country’s five highest-ranked Jesuit universities.
The 2022 Best Colleges list places LMU once again among the top 75 ranked national universities, and alongside California’s top private institutions with Stanford, Caltech, USC, Pepperdine, and Santa Clara. Among the 27 Jesuit universities in the U.S., LMU ranked in the top five, which also included Georgetown and Boston College.
LMU clinched top 25 ranks on several specialty lists, including Best Undergraduate Teaching (No. 22), which reflects the success of LMU’s teacher-scholar model; Best Undergraduate Engineering (No. 22); and Academic Programs to Look for in Service Learning (No. 21).
LMU’s College of Business Administration appears once again in the U.S. News & World Report list of top business schools in the nation. Several business programs earned high marks, including marketing (No. 17), entrepreneurship (No. 21), analytics (No. 27) and accounting (No. 44). The management program, a newcomer on this year’s list, is ranked No. 33.
