Two new additions have been made to the SFTV family: Abigail R. Kaun and Roger D. Stewart have joined the LMU School of Film and Television as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the Associate Dean of Operations and Business Services, respectively.
As Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Abigail R. Kaun will provide instructional leadership and oversight of academic programs. Kaun joins LMU from USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where she has served as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Affairs since 2007. In this capacity, she oversaw academic advising, the Annenberg Press, career development, distance learning and international programs as well as curriculum development for the USC Annenberg School. Kaun holds a Ph.D. from UCLA.
Roger D. Stewart will serve as Associate Dean of Operations and Business Services, a newly created position, where he will oversee and implement financial and operational policies for the school. He joins LMU after many years in management at USC. Most recently, he was Executive Associate Dean for Administration and Finance at USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, where he served from 2009 to 2012. Stewart holds a Ph.D. from Boston University, an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School and a B.A. from Goddard College.
